After setting up on Saturday and having a good evening, the morning was one hassle after another. A harness issue which hadnt been highlighted by any previous scrutineer was brought to our attention. So a quick harness rental from our friends over at Rogue Motorsport meant we thankfully passed scrutineering. Because of this Shane nearly missed his new drivers briefing, which then resulted in rushing around for our sessions. A power steering failure then meant Shane had unusual handling during qualifying practise but this was easily resolved afterwards thanks to some advice by Matt from Rogue Motorsport.

However, once racing got underway, Shane soon settled into the timetable and the circuit, running reasonable lap times considering we had never practised at the circuit beforehand. Still running the slower engine of the field, this modification was decided to be done over the off-season so yet again struggling for straight line pace and still no adjustable parts, so tyre pressures were key once more. Again the team got a good balance although a spin in race one didnt help show this.

Shane still had some good battles with a wider variety of drivers and had his best result of the season so far...a 16th in race two.
