Finally an easy trip in the morning to a track.

We arrive at Snetterton, grateful that Shane knows the track and that we appear to have no mechanical issues with the car. However, come Qualifying, reality hit home. The issues on pre-season testing and the preceeding races have meant setup development has been lacking, so qualifying didnt meet our expectations. Combined with an early red flag during qualifying, the officials only gave a small amount of time remaining for the session, so everyone seemed to struggle getting a clear lap-time.

Shane was dissapointed with the 20th (race one) & 16th (race two) start positions, knowing that the grip & balance levels just werent good enough & could be improved. Likewise, some upgrade are still in progress to help straightline speed. Despite this, race one was quite good, managing to pick off a few places and ending the race in 16th, one away from Shane's target of top-15 results. Race two however was the opposite, despite a better starting position, and adjustments to tyre pressures to gain some grip...a poor start and an outside start position meant he lost places and after some good racing mid-pack, Shane finished in 21st.

Finally a reliable day, which is a step closer to being competative! We hope you enjoy the on-board footage below.

Next up is Castle Combe, a track we havent been to before, so some setup tweeks being made and we learn the track as quickly as we can! See you there!
