Castle Combe, another new track and with several adjustments made to the car, it was a bit of an unknown afair. Friday we arrived to setup and see a few MR2's getting in some extra testing, something we would love to do for future meetings.

Saturday morning and out we go for qualifying. Time is short and trackspace is important, so with a limited amount of flying laps, Shane learns the braking points and grip levels quick & gets a couple reasonable laps in.

The races arrive and Shane is grouped with a few different cars in the midpack. Both starts were reasonable and had the same competitors, Trayner, Bithrey, Ralphson.

A result of 16th in race one was a reasonable achievement, but a possible better finish was lost when a spin just 2 laps from the end dropped Shane to 27th.

The car has more upgrade potential, but financially it cant all be done at once. Alot of support from family at Castle Combe made it a great weekend & despite mixed results, the speed is creeping up & track experience will only get better.

Next up is Rockingham, a track we have been to before, so some more tweeks being made and look ahead for another good showing.

Cya there!
