After some assistance from Shawn Taylor Racing, the #34 Mansbridge Racing MR2 was ready for it 1st shakedown test.
Fitted with the EBC yellowstuff pads and Regulation required Toyo tyres, a few sessions of bedding in was required.
Norfolk had seen lots of rain the days before and so the track was fairly trecherous. Being a public trackday the statutory drivers briefing and sighting laps took place.
After these, the tracktime began, but because track time wasnt a priority, we took our time ensuring the car was prepared for the first session. During this time, several other people had issues on track, either going off-track or mechanical failures causing red flags.
Once Shane headed out on track, the day was as expected, 20 minute stints and then back to the pits. Timing is not allowed on public trackdays & wasnt required on this occasion but for a taste of snetterton from inside an MR2, please look on our youtube page or watch the video below.
